L2: "When" ・いつ？

前置詞の使い分けが難しいです。覚えるしかない気がしますね。

何次元があるかで使い分けてみましょう。

一次元の時点の表現は "at (when)" を使います。

"I Go to Work at 6am"

"The Bus Comes at 10:50"

二次元の時間の表現は "from (when) to (when)" を使います。

"I Go to Work from 6am to 4pm"

"The Bus Comes from 10:50 to 10:52"

これからの時間の表現は "in (time)" を使います。

"I Start Work in 1 hour"

"The Bus Comes in 10 minutes"

L2: For / Since

初心者のテーマのように何次元があるかと考えましょう。

一次元の時点の表現は "since (when)" を使います。

この (when) のレベルアップしよう。時であったり、ものが起こったり、イベントでも

• "since 2 pm"
• "since January"
• "since I started working"
• "since the start of Spring"

二次元の時間の表現は "for (time)" を使います。思考として "in" の反対と考えてもいいです。

経った時間をフォーカスする表現に用いられます。色んな語形変化にはまれます。

• "I played the piano for six years" (いつからいつまでが過去かも現在でも知らない)
• "I have played the piano for six years" (今まで６年間が経った)
• "Next week, I will have played the piano for six years" (来週は 6 周年になる)
