L1: be 動詞

動詞について最も重要な事は主語による変形します。

現在形

• I am
• You are
• He/She/It is
• We are
• You are
• They are

上のを見ると are が多いですね。複数の時は必ず使いましょう。ですから主語に注意してください。自分だけと一つのものの話す時だけ違います。

過去形は一緒です。are が were に、am と is が was になります。上のリストを自分で書き直してみてください。

L2: "used to"

過去のことが現在に続いてないなら「used to」がよく使われています。

A : I used to play the sanshin. (三線を昔に弾いた事あるんだけど)
B : That’s cool! Why did you stop? (いいね。何でやめたの？)
A : I started learning English and had no time to practice. (英語を始めてから時間がない)

1. This shop used to sell pizza. (ピザ販売していたなのに現在やってない)
2. I used to have hair! (髪があったのに、禿げてしまった)
