"looking for" の後に名詞が来ることがあります。

"He's Looking for His car"

"She's Looking for a cat"

～しようとする

動詞の場合もありますが、「for」が「to」に変わります。

やってるそうな人にはこういう言い回しを使います。

"They're Looking to Buy snacks"

"He Is Looking to Have a picnic"

今度、赤信号とかバス乗車中、周りにいる人たちを見てて、何をしているかを英語で当ててみましょう！

条件文は４種あります。 条件節が最初にある条件です。条件による事が起こります。 日本語でいうと「もし～だったら・したら」のことです。 色々単純文がおけます。

"If I'm not home,"

"If it is raining on Sunday,"

"If you have time,"

場合によっては、色々付ける事ができます。

"If I'm not home

• you can call me."
• I might be at work."
• please feed my dog."

"If it's raining on Sunday:

• let's cancel our plans."
• I won't want to go out."
• you don't have to water the garden."
